Case Studies
Department of Homeland Security
We are working with the Department of Homeland Security on a large mainframe
modernization project. For the first time in the federal government's history, they're eschewing the traditional requirements process with its ambiguous requirements, endless meetings and expensive rework for the efficient and cost-effective Stream Process™.
Appeals Electronic case system Proof of Concept
OneSpring worked with a large government agency on a proof-of-concept to redesign an Appeals electronic case transmittal system. The existing system had critical problems. The
previous requirements gathering process led to misunderstandings and rework. As a result, the Appeals system was difficult to navigate, overly complicated, had a rigid user interface. In addition, the project had been delayed many times and was over budget. The project would be cancelled if usability was not significantly improved.
MyHealtheVet
We worked with the Veterans Administration to dramatically improve the MyHealtheVet web
site. Focus groups in rural areas consisting of veterans were conducted to visualize and gather feedback on a proposed new system - very early in the process and without costly development resources
